MEN'S TENNIS: Ball State drops match to Illinois State

Cardinals drop match 5-2 after taking first point

Ball State lost its fifth straight match Saturday to Illinois State 5-2.

The Cardinals started off fast, taking the doubles match point.

Illinois State responded as it took the first five singles matches, clinching the match.

Sophomore Austin Sansone was the lone Cardinal to win a singles match at No. 6.

Junior Cliff Morrison was the only other Cardinal to win a set losing at No. 3, 2-6, 6-1, 7-5.

Ball State will try to end its losing streak at the Boise State Spring Tournament next weekend.
