Art and Journalism Building evacuated for fire alarm

The morning routine in the Art and Journalism Building at Ball State was disrupted Thursday when a fire alarm caused the building to be cleared.

An issue in a first-floor mechanical room was the apparent cause, according to police radio traffic.

The alarm sounded at 9:27 a.m. Students, staff and faculty were allowed back in the building after a four-minute delay.
