Ball State University will host a senatorial debate this week.
Democratic incumbent Sue Errington and Republican candidate Doug Eckerty agreed to a debate on campus this Thursday, according to a campus e-mail.
The e-mail said the debate will include questions from the moderators and the audience.
Both are running for District 26 state senate seat which encompasses Muncie and the surrounding area.
Errington was first elected to District 26 senate seat in 2006.
The debate is Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in Cardinal Hall. The event is free and seating is first come, first serve.
