INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Frequent fliers willing to spend $169 a year can save time at Indianapolis International Airport starting next month.
The Indianapolis Star says on Aug. 16, the airport will be the first in the country to relaunch a version of the registered traveler program.
The program is called iQueue Priority Access program. It lets business and frequent fliers pay a $169 annual fee to receive a biometric identity card. The card can be used to gain faster passage through airport security checkpoints.
The iQueue system is a successor to the registered traveler service called CLEAR and operated by Verified Identity Pass. It ceased operations a year ago.
