University Police Department made one arrest at the Late Nite Carnival during the weekend.
Director of Public Safety Gene Burton said the lone instance was a public intoxication.
He said he was at the carnival Friday night and it was pretty quiet. Saturday was the same. Officers had a few problems but nothing out of hand. It was comparable to previous years, he said.
For an event that size to only have one arrest is always a good thing, he said.
"From our end it was like previous carnivals," Burton said. "It went very well, very smooth."
Seven officers worked Friday night and five were there Saturday.
