Members from Ball State University's greek community will go to class wearing their badges Monday to show pride for their house.
The Panhellenic and Interfraternity Councils are celebrating Badge Day, an annual event in which students show their loyalty to their organizations.
This is the first time the Interfraternity Council has celebrated Badge Day, Paul Desmond, IFC vice president of public relations, said.
"The Panhellenic Council does this event every year and the Interfraternity Council decided to take part in it this year," he said.
Although there will be no receptions, the day is considered a celebration because of the respect the Panhellenic and Interfraternity Councils have for their badges, Desmond said.
"It's a day for members of the greek community to show Ball State the respect we have for each other what greek life means to us," he said.
