A winter storm warning remains in effect until 1 p.m. Wednesday for much of Central Indiana, including Muncie.
According to the National Weather Service, an additional 1 to 3 inches of snow fall is expected tonight. As much as 6 to 7 inches could fall before the warning expires.
Roads will remain slick and hazardous as significant blowing and drifting will could cause problems overnight into the Wednesday morning. Wind gusts of up to 35 mph are possible.
