MEN'S TENNIS: Ball State sweeps Green Bay, Anderson

Cardinals improve to 5-3 on the season

The Ball State University men's tennis team improved its record to 5-3 on the season with consecutive wins against University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and Anderson University in their doubleheader today.

Ball State won both matches 7-0, dropping only one individual match on the day.

Against Green Bay, Ball State got into trouble early by losing at No. 2 doubles. It came down to the No. 1 doubles team of Eduardo Pavia and Dalton Albertin to seal the point for Ball State. They won, and from there the team cruised in singles for the win.

In the second match of the day, the Cardinals took care of the visiting Ravens to finish the day 2-0. Every competitor for the Cardinals won in straight sets in singles competition against NCAA Division III Anderson.

Ball State continues its homestand Wednesday when Eastern Illinois University comes to Muncie. The match begins at 3 p.m.
