Saturday's Air Supply concert at John R. Emens Auditorium most likely won't be affected by winter weather, Associate Director Darcy Wood said.
Wood said she doesn't anticipate problems with weather will dissuade fans of the ‘80s hair band from making it to the show. The show is still scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
"The only time Emens reschedules events is if the artist backs out," she said.
Air Supply is best known for its ‘80s love songs, including "Lost in Love," "The One That You Love" and "Now & Forever." The song "All Out of Love," which originally debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts in 1980, also placed 92nd in VH1's list of 100 Greatest Love Songs.
Ticket sales for the show have picked up throughout the week, as is the general trend the week before any Emens event. Woods said she couldn't give an exact estimate of the number of tickets sold.
Tickets are still available at the Emens box office and Ticketmaster and prices are $5 for students, $20 for adults in advance and $25 at the door. Box office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
