Reminder of deadlines, events

  • The Late Nite Advisory Board is looking for students to be part of the organization during the Spring semester. Board members will help plan, design and execute Late Nite campus events.
    Applications to be a part of the team can be found online at www.bsu.edu/latenite/getinvolved. Forms can be submitted electronically or through the mail. The deadline for applications is Friday.
    For more information about getting involved with Late Nite, call the office at 285-1031.
  • AmeriCorps is collecting canned food at Ball State University this week as part of National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week. Collection areas have been set up at the Atrium, Woodworth Commons, Noyer Complex and LaFollette. Donations will be given to the Muncie Mission Ministries. Muncie Mission served the community with more than 65,000 meals in 2007, according to its Web site.   • The Amelia T. Wood Health Center Steering Committee is looking for students to be part of its Advisory Board. Board members meet in the health center one time each month for less than two hours. The Steering Committee hopes to attract students from varying majors or academic backgrounds. If interested, submit your name, phone number, e-mail address, address, major and year in school to Donna Koger at dkoger@bsu.edu.
