Play of the WeekBrittany McGinnis (women's volleyball)In a match against Western Michigan University, the sophomore dove out of bounds to make a dig and keep the point alive for the Cardinals. However, Ball State lost 3-0 to the defending Mid-American Conference champions.
Player of the WeekAlex Doherty (men's tennis)The freshman reached the championship match of Flight C in the Ball State Invitational on Sunday. Doherty lost to Mathia Hambach of DePaul University in the title match.

Fan's choiceKelly Page (football)With 12 votes and 33 percent of the poll, Page won this year's fifth fan choice vote. Page threw for 101 yards and a touchdown. The freshman also scored on a 21-yard run in the third quarter.
