Health care workers in Indianapolis received some of the first doses of swine flu vaccinations Monday.
Kent Bullis, director of the Ball State University Amelia T. Wood Health Center, said Delaware County is expected to receive 1,100 doses of the H1N1 vaccine Tuesday. Maybe 20 to 30 doses will come to Ball State, Bullis said.
The university would receive an increased amount of doses as the flu season progresses, he said. Ball State requested 8,000 doses, but Bullis said he is unsure if the university will get all of them.
Other states to receive swine flue vaccines Monday were Illinois and Tennessee.
