Top 10 announced for Homecoming faculty king, queen

Ball State University announced Monday the top 10 Homecoming faculty/staff royalty candidates.

The 10 top candidates were selected by online voting that occurred earlier this month. Among the 20 people advancing includes assistant professor of history and reigning Homecoming faculty/staff king Richard Neel.

Four departments had multiple candidates advance to the top 10. The Department of Elementary Education and the Department of English led all departments with three candidates, and the Department of Psychological Science and the Department of Theatre and Dance each had two candidates.

The king and queen will be crowned at the Opening Day Bonfire at 9 p.m. Sept. 28 at LaFollette Field.
