Ball State University was shut out in their home opener against Ohio State University 5-0.
The Cardinals offense was kept under control once again as they were outshot by the Buckeyes 24-5. Ball State took only one shot in the first half.
Senior Tiffany Shifflett recorded double digit saves for the second consecutive game with 10 total saves.
This marks the Cardinals sixth straight loss and third in a row against Big Ten opponents.
