A Board of Trustees meeting will take place at 4 p.m. today at Bracken Library.
An executive session is scheduled for 1 p.m. A highlight of the executive meeting is the transfer of real estate property from the university to a commercial enterprise.
Director of University Communications Kevin Burke said proposals from three legal entities will be considered: one for-profit, one limited liability and one not-for-profit company.
At 2 p.m. there will be a tour of DeHority Hall. After that, the group of trustee members will visit the Helen B. and Martin D. Schwartz Special Collections and Digital Complex at Bracken Library.
The agenda for the Board of Trustees meeting also includes previous budget approvals from the proposals made at the meeting in July.
Besides discussion of fiscal budgets, attention will be paid to the Museum of Art. Suggestions will be taken for the name of the promenade in the Museum of Art in honor of Margaret Petty. According to a press release, amendments to the Museum of Art Collection Management Policy will be proposed.
