The Ball State University athletics department will be giving away free food today at the Scramble Light to help promote the upcoming home football game this weekend.
People will be able to get free chips and salsa from Qdoba Mexican Grill between 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This promotion comes two days before Ball State will play the University of New Hampshire at 7 p.m. Saturday in Scheumann Stadium.
Ball State enters this game after losing its season opener against University of North Texas 20-10 last week. New Hampshire, a Football Championship Subdivision team, defeated St. Francis University in its season opener.
