FOOTBALL: 5 Ball State incoming freshman to play in state all-star game

Football players to play in North/South game at North Central

Five incoming freshman for the Ball State University football team will get one last chance to suit up as high schoolers Friday at the Grange Insurance Indiana North/South All-Star Football Classic.

Out of the eight total recruits from Indiana that are in this year's freshman class, all but three of them will be playing in the game.

Only one member of the Ball State team will suit up for the North team. Lewis Cass High School graduate Kitt O'Brien, an offensive lineman, will play for the North team.

Four future Cardinals will be suiting up opposite O'Brien on the South team. Running back David Brown from Shelbyville High School, tight end Ethan Buckles from Cardinal Ritter High School, running back Zane Fakes from Plainfield High school and running back Eric Williams from Warren Central High School will all play for the South team.

Before the game there will be a meet and greet with Indianapolis Colts players, cheerleaders and the Colts Mascot, Blue. The Colts will also have their "Colts in Motion" traveling museum for those in attendance to walk through.
