Peyton Manning, Ball State unveil new youth health campaign

INDIANAPOLIS - Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning helped launch a campaign with Ball State University and the Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at St. Vincent to help fight childhood obesity on Monday.

Project 18, dubbed after Manning's number, goal is to help teach children how to stay active and make healthy choices.

A team of Ball State students and dietitians developed a curriculum being offered to schools, which was approved by experts at St. Vincent.

The project also includes a television advertising campaign and a website where parents, teachers, and kids can go to learn about health strategies.
