Hacker defaces iWeb accounts

Ball State University announced Tuesday afternoon that a Ball State server was hacked into early this week.

In an e-mail sent to students from the University Computing Services, the server hosted some iWeb accounts, individual Web hosting accounts for the university community, and some Web pages were defaced on Monday.

The e-mail stated the the server was taken down while the University and Microsoft work to fix the problem. Also, no servers containing confidential information were affected.
