The Living Room in downtown Muncie has announced it will close its doors after nine years at the end of the semester.
Volunteer Angie Bays said financial reasons are to blame for the closing. The church that sponsors the venue can't afford it anymore. She said attendance has been gradually declining the past few years.
Bays said the Living Room would have its last show April 26. Six to 10 acts that have played at the venue in the past will return for the show, she said.
