The Amelia T. Wood Health Center will have to suspend a few services Monday and Tuesday because of construction on North Residence Hall.
Medical Director Kent Bullis said the Health Center's steam pipes will be shut off those days in order to connect them to the new residence hall.
As a result the Health Center won't have heat or hot water. Ear wax irrigations and pelvic examinations both require warm water and won't be offered, he said.
The lack of heat will affect employees more, Bullis said, depending on the weather. If weather is cold, students are encouraged to dress warm if they visit.
