The Ball State University swimming and diving team will finish its dual-meet season tonight against Miami University.
"Miami is probably the premiere team in the [Mid-American Conference] this year," coach Laura Seibold-Caudill said. "They give us the best competition we have seen all year."
Seibold-Caudill said the team is not focusing on this meet, which begins at 7 p.m., but rather is focusing on the most important meet of the season, the MAC Championship later this month.
"We're going to give it our best shot," Seibold-Caudill said. "For the women, we have a two-week break before the MAC which is good because it will give them a break. Unfortunately for the men, they only have a week, so they have already started their taper."
Coach Bob Thomas said the team is going to focus on more individual performance. Miami boasts one of the fastest pools in the MAC, and Thomas said he is expecting some great times from his swimmers.
