The Office of Student Life is accepting team registration packets for the 2009 McKinley Mile Bike Race, according to a press release.
The more than 50-year-old race will be April 4. Qualifying rounds will be March 18.
The University Program Board is sponsoring the entertainment for the event on LaFollette Field, including inflatable games, a hot dog eating contest, food, music, prizes and more, according to the press release.
An awards ceremony for the race winners will follow.
Teams must have four members and one alternate to participate in either the male or female division.
Riders of any experience are welcome.
Team registration packets are available on the Office of Student Life Web site and must be turned into the office by March 2. Team captains must attend a mandatory captain meeting at 5 p.m. March 25.
