Advance tickets for the eighth annual Muncie Gras are available.
Cheryl Crowder, downtown development program manager, said she expects to have an exciting Muncie Gras this year.
"We expect beautiful weather and tons of people," she said. "There will be many activities and there will be safe and free rides."
This year's activities include a regional belly dancing and costume contest, exotic dancers, a mechanical bull, two live music stages featuring more than a dozen bands and more.
The night's activities will be projected on huge screens placed on the streets.
Crowder said there will be free trolley rides from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m., which will run from downtown through campus to College Park University Estates.
Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the gate. Go to www.munciedowntown.com to find the closest location selling tickets.
Muncie Gras is from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. Feb. 21 in downtown Muncie. Only people 21 and older with ID are permitted.
