Ball State University's Audiology Clinic has found a solution for uncomfortable, store-bought earbuds that don't fit ears.
The clinic is offering custom-made earbud adapters to students for $75. Students interested will have impressions taken of their ears at the time of purchase. The finished product will be available for pickup at a later time.
Other custom-made products offered will include IFB earpieces, swimplugs and musicians' earplugs. Prices vary from $50 to $105, according to the press release.
Payment is expected at the time impressions are made, and Visa, Mastercard, checks or cash will be accepted.
The earbuds will be available in Arts and Communication Building, Rm. 104.
Molds will be made from 8-10 a.m. and 2-5 p.m. Wednesday and again from 8-11 a.m. and 2-5 p.m. Thursday.
