Central Michigan-Indiana game highlights weekend schedule, Miami, Buffalo to play nationally televised game on election day

Starting in his second game since returning from an ankle injury, quarterback Dan LeFevour will go up against the fifth-worst passing defense in the Big Ten.Indiana's defense is allowing 218 passing yards per game and 378.1 total yards per game, second-worst in the conference. LeFevour is fourth in the MAC with 231.3 passing yards per game. He had 242 passing yards and two touchdowns in last week's 24-23 win against Toledo.The Hoosiers lead the all-time series 3-0 and beat Northwestern last week to end their five-game losing streak.

Eastern Michigan at Western Michigan2 p.m. Saturday

After a 22-point loss to No. 16 Ball State last week, Eastern Michigan will play its second consecutive road game against a bowl eligible team.Western Michigan enters its game against the Eagles following a bye week. In the Broncos' last game, a 38-28 road loss to Central Michigan, quarterback Tim Hiller had a school-record 471 passing yards. The loss ended the Broncos six-game winning streak.Hiller leads the MAC with 2,517 passing yards and 25 touchdowns. Eastern Michigan's passing defense is second best in the conference, allowing 162.2 yards per game.

Kent State at Bowling Green2 p.m. Saturday, BSCN

Bowling Green will attempt to do something this weekend it has not done all season: win a home game.The Falcons are 0-3 at home, including loses to fourth-place Miami and last place Eastern Michigan, and have a three-game losing streak. Kent State is 1-3 in road games, its only win occurring last weekend against Miami.Kent State leads the conference averaging 217.5 rushing yards per game. In the win against the RedHawks, two players rushed for more than 100 yards as the Golden Flashes had a season-high 305 rushing yards.Bowling Green's defense is allowing 181.1 rushing yards per game, third worst in the conference.

Temple at Navy3:30 p.m. Saturday, CBS College Sports

The fourth best rushing defense in the conference will compete against the second best rushing offense in the nation.Temple's defense enters this weekend allowing 142.0 rushing yards per game, compared to Navy's option offense averaging 309.9 rushing yards per game.The Owls have won two of their last three games, including a fourth-quarter comeback win against Ohio in their last game. Following a loss to Ball State in the second week of the season, Navy has won five of its last six games - including a win against then-No.16 Wake Forest.

Miami at Buffalo7:30 p.m. Tuesday, ESPN2

A team from a battleground state will play a team from a state projected to be democratic on election night.Miami -¡- an Ohio school - is tied for fourth in the East Division, and Buffalo -¡- a New York school - is tied with Akron for first place in the East Division.The Bulls lead the MAC in turnover margin with a plus-nine, compared the RedHawks conference-worst minus-eight turnover margin.If Miami loses another game it will no longer be bowl eligible - one year after winning the East Division championship and playing in the MAC Championship Game.-¡ In addition, the RedHawks were ranked No. 9 in this week's ESPN.com's Bottom 10 Poll.
