Ball State University senior Julie DeMuth was honored as part of the 2007-2008 women's basketball Academic All-Mid-American Conference team Wednesday.
It was the first time DeMuth earned the accolade and the seventh consecutive season that a Ball State player made the team.
The Cardinals' tri-captain is a legal studies major and has a 3.41 GPA. She averaged 11.5 points per game and 6.8 rebounds per game this season, both second best on the team.
DeMuth was also honored as a member of the third team All-MAC this season. She is one of three players to earn a conference postseason award each of their four seasons at Ball State.
DeMuth helped guide Ball State to MAC West championships the past two seasons and earned the honors of first team All-MAC last year.
