The No. 10 Ball State University men's volleyball team had three players named to the 2008 Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association All-Conference first team on Wednesday.
Outside attacker Patrick Durbin, middle attacker Matt McCarthy and libero Ian Peckler were selected to the team for the first time in their collegiate careers.
"The good news we had a lot of guys recognized and I'm pleased for those individuals. Those recognitions are things that are the function of what our team has done this year," coach Joel Walton said. "If you don't play well it would take a stellar effort to be on the first or second team."
