The No. 12 George Mason University men's volleyball team defeated No. 6 Ball State University 33-31, 30-26, 26-30, 30-26 on Saturday at Worthen Arena.
The Patriots had two players finish the match with at least 20 kills, including outside attacker Hudson Bates. Bates had a match-high 26 kills, with eight of those kills in game four.
