Two Ball State University organizations will have their semi-annual day of activities Tuesday.
Ball State Nurses Association and the Reserve Officer Training Corps will have a rock wall, blood pressure testing and food from about 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. near Ball Gymnasium, BSNA adviser Carolyn Keihn said. A flight nurse will also land in a helicopter at about 11 a.m. on Ball State's soccer field, Keihn said.
Keihn said BSNA and ROTC members have partnered up for their activity days for several years.
"Actually, it's kind of a neat thing that we ended up getting together," she said. "We've worked together on a lot of things in the past. There are a lot of students both in ROTC and nursing, and we're from the same college, so it's just kind of a good thing."
The activities are geared toward informing students about the organizations, she said.
"I had one student tell me once that this was the most fun thing she'd done and it was a great stress reliever," Keihn said.
