Playing their final game at Worthen Arena, seniors Julie DeMuth and Lisa Rusche scored the first nine points in Ball State University's last regular-season game of the year.
Despite their efforts, the Cardinals trail Northern Illinois University 22-21 after the first 20 minutes.
DeMuth enters the half with seven points and six rebounds, and Rusche has recorded four points and two boards thus far. Junior Porchia Green leads all scorers with eight points in the first half.
Terriel Cannon leads the Huskies at the break with five points.
