Ball State University named Michael Lovett, a former assistant at Virginia Tech, as its new head soccer coach today.
Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Tom Collins announced Lovett would succeed Michelle Salmon, who left Ball State to take the head coaching position at the University of Cincinnati Jan. 10.
At Virginia Tech, Lovett was primarily in charge of the Hokies' goalkeepers.
