Despite winning the first games against the Huskies, the Cardinals lost the final three games to lose the match (27-30, 23-30, 30-18, 30-26, 15-9).
This was the Cardinals second loss during the weekend. Western Michigan defeated Ball State 20-30, 30-19, 31-29, 30-28.
With these losses, the Cardinals longest winning streak of the season was ended at two matches and are now 3-15 overall and 2-4 in conference play.
