The Ball State University women's volleyball team is now 0-2 in the Mid-American Conference following a 3-0 (30-24, 30-18, 30-24) loss at Eastern Michigan University Friday.
"I thought it was two teams that was evenly matched on a lot of things; they just had us offensively," coach Dave Boos. "I thought we played hard, but I don't think we played our best."
The loss came one day after being swept by Central Michigan University in the conference opener. Friday's loss extends the Cardinals losing streak to 13. In that stretch the Cardinals have been swept nine times, including six of the last seven matches.
Ball State is last in the MAC West division tied with the University of Toledo and Northern Illinois University at 0-2.
