Ball State University running back MiQuale Lewis suffered a knee injury with less than 10 minutes to play in the fourth quarter of Saturday's game at the University of Nebraska.
The extent of the injury is unknown, but Ball State football coach Brady Hoke released a statement Sunday stating Lewis will be out indefinitely.
"MiQuale hurt his knee in our game Saturday and is out indefinitely," Hoke said in the release. "He will be monitored daily."
Lewis rushed 19 times for 122 yards at Nebraska, one week after recording a career-high 161 rushing yards on 27 carries at the Naval Academy.
