Parking Services is not ticketing vehicles in most Ball State University parking lots while the school clears snow from Tuesday's blizzard, Public Safety Director Gene Burton said.
For the past two days, tickets have only been given out when people have complained, but Ball State is officially not ticketing on Friday, he said.
Exceptions include handicapped parking, loading zones, service vehicle parking and the parking lot east of the Administration Building, he said.
The open parking will last until the end of business hours Friday, when weekend parking will go into effect and zoned parking will not be ticketed. Metered spaces that are 24 hours outside residence halls will begin receiving tickets at 7 a.m. Saturday, Burton said.
