The Ball State University women's basketball team defeated IPFW in the championship game of the BSU Credit Union Thanksgiving Tournament 73-62 Sunday afternoon. The win enabled the Cardinals to capture their second consecutive tournament title.Junior forward Julie DeMuth, who earned MVP honors for Ball State, paced the Cardinals with 16 points and seven rebounds in the championship. Sophomore guard Porchia Green added 13 points, seven rebounds and four assists to the Cardinals' cause.
