Two residents of Windermere Place Apartments are at Ball Memorial Hospital after they were shot and possibly robbed, Sgt. Jason Webber of the Muncie Police Department said.
Sam Ghebremichael and Reggie Hill, both students at Ball State University, were shot in apartment 404 Thursday night. Witnesses were at the scene. Police responded to a call made at 7:18 p.m.
One of the residents was in serious condition after he was shot in the shin, a Windermere resident said, and the other was shot in the ankle. A staff member at Ball Memorial Hospital said the two were in stable condition as of 9:55 p.m.
Police have not arrested any suspects as of 8:40 p.m. According to police, they are looking for a black, 6-foot tall male.
