The Ball State University women's swimming and diving team improved its record to 3-1 on the year with a 190-110 victory at Bowling Green State University on Saturday.
The Cardinals finished first in 11 of 16 events and were led by Emily Hurst and Brittany Sayler.
Hurst recorded two first-place finishes in the 100-meter and 200-meter breast stroke with times of 1:06.89 and 2:25.13. Sayler did her work in the backstroke, recording first place in the 100-meter and 200-meter with times of 57.90 and 2:05.12.
Ball State also received first-place finishes from Mary Brinkoetter [200-meter freestyle stroke, 1:56.75], Megan Ploetz [200-meter butterfly stroke, 2:07.92] and Addison Del Rio [100-meter freestyle stroke, 53.57].
In the diving competition, Ball State's Katie Boyle won the 1-meter diving with a score of 245.58, and Stephanie Paul posted a 272.10 to win the 3-meter dive.
The Cardinals will host the Douglas Coers Invitational Nov. 17 and 18 at Lewellen Aquatic Center.
