Glenn Augustine, senior director of University Communications at Ball State University, is leaving the school for a position at the Indiana Youth Institute.
Augustine will serve as the organization's communications manager, starting Dec. 18. He said the move is so he can work closer to his Indianapolis home and spend more time with family.
IYI is excited to have Augustine accept the position, where he will handle media relations, marketing and work with organization publications, Karin Mills, director of fund development and marketing for IYU, said.
"[It was important that we] have somebody with a good relationship with the media to get the word out about issues of concern with youth in Indiana," she said.
