It's teeter-totter time again. Circle K will hold its annual Teeter-Totter-A-thon 8 p.m. to midnight Friday at the Scramble Light.
The Teeter-Totter-A-thon is an annual event put on by Circle K to raise money for the Muncie Animal Rescue Fund, Mike Copley, the event coordinator said.
People will be able to come to the Scramble Light at the intersection of McKinley and Riverside to donate money and teeter-totter, Copley said.
Circle K is a leadership organization of college students who volunteer their time to do service for the community, Hillary Mundon, vice president for Circle K, said.
Other Circle K events throughout the year include volunteering at Westminster Retirement Home every Thursday, volunteering for the Indy 500 parade, collecting pop tabs for Riley Hospital, collecting money for UNICEF, volunteering at animal shelters and conducting clothing and food drives, Circle K President Laura Mercer said.
For more information or for membership information students can attend one of Circle K's meetings, which take place every Wednesday in RB 112 at 6:30 p.m.
