Ball State University field hockey goalkeeper Caroline Lehman was named the Mid-American Conference Defensive Player of the Week Monday.
During the past week, Lehman posted a 1-2 record and made 34 saves in the Cardinals' three games.
In addition, Lehman set a career high with 15 saves in Ball State's 1-0 overtime loss against Miami University on Sunday.
