The Ball State women's indoor track and field team finished up its season at the Alex Wilson Invitational, March 3-4.
Sophomore Amber Williams and Junior Terri Abraham, were the only representatives for the Cardinals at the invitational in Notre Dame. Neither was able to improve their marks, however as the indoor season wrapped up. Williams finished third in the 60 hurdles in 8.38, a NCAA provisional qualifying mark while Abraham ended up 9th in long jump. Williams held the 20th best time in the nation for the 60 hurdles while Abraham ranked 25th in long jump.
Coach Sue Parks was not disappointed with the indoor season however and rather is hoping to carry the successful run at the MAC title over to the outdoor campaign.
"We were pleased with our indoor season and the fact that we were in the hunt for the championship," Parks said. "We just want to get everyone healthy and hopefully, have another shot at being in the hunt during outdoors."
