Gora chooses provost

Terry King will start in his position July 17

In a letter sent to faculty, students and staff at Ball State University, President Jo Ann Gora named Terry King as the next provost.

King is currently working as the dean of the College of Engineering at Kansas State University.

When King talked to students and faculty March 16, he spoke about the role of a provost. He said he sees the university as a prime arena for positive changes.

In Gora's President's Perspective, she wrote that she appreciated his "collaborative style, excellent communication skills, ability to envision and facilitate change and experience working across boundaries to establish successful programs."
