WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL: BSU places two on academic All-MAC Squad

Senior outside attacker Sarah Obras and redshirt sophomore setter Angie Parrell have been selected to the 2005 Academic All-Mid-American Conference squad, as voted on by the league's 12 faculty representatives.

To qualify, student-athletes must have at least a 3.2 cumulative grade-point average and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for their sport.This is the third straight season Obras has been named to the team. She is an accounting major with a 3.86 GPA. She is a two-time MAC Scholar Athlete of the week and was named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District V First Team. She is a three-time All-MAC First Team selection and is also the MAC's all-time career leader in kills and attempts.
