Two members of the Ball State football team were rewarded for their seasons with All Mid-American Conference accolades.
Freshman punter Chris Miller was named to the All-MAC First Team and senior defensive end Blair Kramer was named to the All-MAC Second Team.
Miller led the MAC in punting average and was 11th best in the nation (42.9 yards). That average is the fifth-best in Ball State history. He punted 68 times for 2917 yards and twenty of those punts fell inside the opponent's 20-yard line. In the season-opener, he punted for 425 yards against Iowa. A week later, Miller punted for 430 yards - the eighth-most in Ball State history.
Kramer led the Cardinals with 13 tackles for loss +â-¡+â-¡- sixth most in the MAC +â-¡- and five sacks in 10 starts. He finished with 37 total tackles, 21 for loss, and forced a fumble. Against Eastern Michigan, he helped the Cardinals in their come-from-behind win with a career-high seven tackles.
He was also named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Five Team.
