Ball State University students will have some help tailgating for homecoming this Saturday courtesy of mtvU. mtvU will be bringing their state-of-the-art tailgating bus to Ball State today and tomorrow. Students can do anything from eat to play video games on the fully-loaded bus.
According to the press release, the bus will feature a grill with free food, music, televisions to watch videos and a video game lounge. mtvU will also be giving out prizes to students and will have cameras available to record students for segments that might air online or on the mtvU network.
The segments, if used, would air online November 9th and on the mtvU network November 10th. They would be part of the second annual "Woodies."
The "mtvU Woodies" are the networks award ceremony honoring the best of music as voted on by college students.
The mtvU crew will also be gathering footage in and around the bus during the tailgating festivities that will air on mtvU.com and mtvU the week of November 7th through the 14th.
Today the bus will be in the parking lot of the Sigma Phi Epsilon parking lot from noon to 4 p.m. for the BSU bed race. On Saturday, the bus will be participating in the Homecoming Parade and then be parked in the student tailgating parking lot across from the stadium from noon to 4 p.m.
