The Ball State University women's tennis team is playing host to seven teams in the Ball State Fall Invitational this weekend.
Coach Kathy Bull said she'd like to see everyone come out strong and aggressive.
"I would like to see a Ball State player in the finals of every event," Bull said.
The invitational will give Ball State its first look at two Mid-American Conference schools, Miami and Northern Illinois. Bull said she hopes to play against them often.
"I hope we get some good match-ups with Miami and Northern [Illinois]," Bull said. "I think that'd be good for motivation and to see what might happen next spring."
This will be the only home event for Ball State this fall. Bull said the team welcomes the opportunity to play on its home court.
"There's an old saying that say's 'there's no place like home,'" Bull said. "I sure hope that holds true."
