A Ball State University alumna who currently works for the team sports division at Nike will speak at the Alumni Center on Friday at 1 p.m.
Sara Scott, product developer, plans to speak for 90 minutes and will also allow time between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. to speak individually with guests.
Scott works with designers and merchandisers to choose fabric and trends that go into Nike products. She graduated from Ball State with a degree in apparel design from the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences.
She plans to speak specifically about Nike and generally about business, including details about jobs students probably don't even know exist.
"I think it would be of value to anyone interested in marketing or business," she said.
