Senior running back Scott Blair and sophomore outside linebackerJason Sieman have been named to the Academic All-District VFootball Team, as selected by the College Sports InformationDirectors of America. Both are now placed on the national ballotfor the CoSIDA Academic All-America Team, which will be announcedDec. 1.
Blair is industrial technology major with a 3.59 GPA. Servingmostly as a backup to freshman Adell Givens, Blair has startedtwice and has rushed for 107 yards this season. He started ninegames last season and has 1,099 career yards.
Sieman, a business major, owns a 3.53 GPA. He redshirted as afreshman and did not see action last year, but stepped into thestarting lineup when projected starter Brad Seiss broke his wristin preseason practice. He ranks second on the Cardinals with 63tackles, including a team-high six for loss.
